PALM SUNDAY FAIR RETURNS!

When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey on the first Palm Sunday, the people celebrated. To honor that tradition, we at LCC also celebrate the day with the return of our annual Palm Sunday Fair. Held in the Fellowship Hall on April 10 from 10:30-ish until noon, our Fair is an intergenerational, interactive, fun event for ALL individuals and families!

A number of fun and mission-oriented activities are planned to illustrate the events of Holy Week, leading to our church observances of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, and culminating with the joyous celebration of Jesus’ glorious resurrection on Easter Sunday!

Adults and children, singles and families, all are invited to come and enjoy the festivities! Some of the featured fun events include:

MAKING AND BAKING YOUR OWN PRETZELS

As well as:

• Fleece quilt tying
• Nails in the Cross
• Cookie decorating
• Painting Easter Rocks
• Preparing bags and cards for shut ins
• …Some other surprises!

And…MAKING POTATO DONKEYS!
