Phyllis recently ‘officially’ joined the LCC family, but she’s been coming here for a while now. Her husband, Steve, has been a member for several years, and he in her to join him one Sunday after dating for almost a year. This led to her volunteering along with him and eventually getting married at LCC.  “I’ve enjoyed getting to know some of you through those times and this has helped me feel like I’m family here,” Phyllis says. “Opening my heart more to God.”

Phyllis’ family moved to the Clearwater area from central Illinois when she was a child. So, she feels she’s a native ~ “got ‘sand in my shoes’!” she said.

The Guettlers currently live in Clearwater.  In their free time they enjoy traveling, boating, the beach & mountains, as well as tending their orchid collection.  Time relaxing at home and time spent with family & friends is also important to them
