“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:40
Jackson Dailey and his project partner Jenna Ham really “cleaned up good” with the help of the generous folks at LCC. The high school seniors were completing a school project that had them running a campaign to collect hygiene products for the St. Petersburg Free Clinic (SPFC). They did a Temple Talk to promote the hygiene drive, provided the boxes for the collection points and delivered the items collected to the Clinic.
SPFC is a worthwhile organization that supports programs to help provide food, healthcare, dental, and housing access to those most vulnerable in our community. Because of our church’s generosity, the students were able to collect over 85 pounds of supplies that will be given to those in need. They wished to offer a heart-felt thank you to everyone who contributed to help “the least of these.” And we as a church wish to thank Jackson and Jenna for providing us with another opportunity to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world. The more we reach out to others, seeing Christ’s face in their needs, the more we are blessed with the chance to live into God’s reign on earth.
Well done, everyone!
