Since 2011, tens of thousands of churches and small groups have turned Adam Hamilton’s best-
selling book on the birth of Christ into a classic that’s read each year.
In The Journey, Adam Hamilton travels from Nazareth to Bethlehem in a fascinating look at the
birth of Jesus Christ. Using historical information, archaeological data, and a personal look at
some of the stories surrounding the birth, the most amazing moment in history will become more
real and heart-felt as you walk along this road. Each session will include a short video of Adam
Hamilton in the Holy Land covering sites that are discussed in the book.
Here at LCC we are inviting you to take this journey with us during December as we ourselves
prepare for the Christ child in each of our lives. There are two times to join us each week,
Monday mornings at 9:30 and Wednesday nights at 6:00. We will gather both in the Conference
Room and on Zoom to discuss how these nativity stories relate to our lives.
The books will be available in the office for a suggested donation of $15 for the paperback.
Used, new and eBook versions are available online from several retailers including Amazon. It
is not necessary to purchase or read the book to participate in the study. Please feel free to drop
