LCC and our Day School are proud to announce the return of Trunk or Treat! This spooktacular event for the kiddos will take place on Wednesday, October 29 from 5:30-7:00 in the parking lot off Chancellor and in the Portico area.

Children are invited to come dressed in their favorite costumes and visit all the cars which will be decorated and filled with delicious candies for them to enjoy. 

The school and our church are asking for candy donations now, so when you’re buying for your own home distribution, please consider buying a little extra. You can drop off your donations either at the preschool or in the church Narthex in the drop off boxes.

But candy is just the beginning of the fun. We will also have crafts for the kids, including pumpkin decorationing, as well as other fun activities and even a photo booth to capture the memories.

Wee ones getting squirrely because their tummies are rumbling and it’s supper time? No worries – we’ve got you covered. Hot dogs, chips and water will be available for a donation of $2.00.

If you’d like to get involved with this fun day, there are several opportunities for you to help. First, click below to reserve a spot for your trunk. You can then decorate your car as you’d like, and the candy will be provided for you. But if that’s not your thing, you can also volunteer to help our Student and Family Coordinator Lori Bell with crafts or other activities. Just contact Lori for more information.

In this year of restoration and renewal, how wonderful it is to see the return of this much-loved event for our children. We thank all those who are working together to make this a fun and safe time for all.
