Funeral and Memorial Services
“I am the Resurrection and the Life”

In the midst of all our circumstances in life, God promises to walk with us, comfort us, and give us peace.  To help you get through times of loss and grief, Lutheran Church of the Cross is available to assist your family with funeral and memorial service preparations. Knowing how difficult this time can be, LCC can help you arrange for a meaningful and thoughtful funeral or memorial service, regardless of whether you are a member of the congregation or not.

Our facility can accommodate both very large services, as well as ones that are private and intimate.  Our musical staff are able to provide a wide range of musical styles and preferences.  We also have a very loving group of volunteers who are able to facilitate the process of having a meal or informal gathering for family and friends after the service.  We typically need two to three days to make arrangements.

If you would need to plan a service, please call the church office at (727) 525-8364 and ask to speak with the pastor, or you may email the pastor at

Our CareTeam can help you during this time and can recommend grief counseling and support groups, should you desire.
