Worship: At LCC we worship as a family on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. Basic elements of Lutheran worship including Holy Communion are embraced at Sunday morning worship services. On Wednesday evenings during the school year we offer a vespers worship service at 6:45 pm.
Prayer: This is a fundamental part of our worship as well as daily life. Prayer comes in many forms, such as the Lord’s Prayer, giving thanks or praise, or petitions for guidance or comfort. Praying every day is a great way to be in relationship with God.
Education: This is a vital part of our Christian journey as we come to know Jesus through the study of his word. A variety of classes are offered for all ages on Sunday mornings, as well as adult studies on Wednesday evenings and Monday mornings.
God’s Word: The word of God is proclaimed and heard every weekend through songs, prayers, readings, and sermons. God meets us and impacts us through scripture when we make it a part of our everyday life.
Service/Outreach: LCC is a very dynamic community. We have a LOCAL OUTREACH TEAM which is involved in many community outreach organizations. In addition, through vacation Bible school, youth service projects, and church member initiatives, LCC offers many opportunities to help others.
God’s Grace: Grace, a gift given to all those who place their faith in Jesus Christ, is central to our Lutheran beliefs. In all we do we emphasize the gift of grace, which secures for us the promise of eternal life.
Empower others through God’s Word: We pray that the time you spend here at LCC will bring you a new awareness of the love of Jesus Christ. This message of love and grace empowers our ministries to share God’s word through conversation and action.
Be a Community Presence: LCC continues to be recognized for its support of many local organizations seeking to a make difference in our community. This initiative is led by many of our members who find a passion for community service. LCC desires to remain a community presence and is indebted to those members who serve the community.
Share our Time, Talents, and Resources: LCC has been blessed with members who have shared their gifts of leadership, music, vision, finances, and management. LCC continues to seek out and foster individuals who contribute to this tremendous legacy of vibrancy and excitement.
