Our youngest musicians - Our music program for younger children, Kids Leading Worship, is designed for children in Kindergarten up through 5th grade. This group's commitment is to provide special music for our services once a month (usually on the second Sunday), as well as being the scripture readers for that day and saying the prayers. During our Wednesday afternoon rehearsals, we divide into age groups and each group spends time singing and playing hand chimes or hand bells (depending on age). The kids learn musical skills as well as making a joyful noise unto the Lord!  We present two musicals a year (one at Christmas time and one on Mother's Day) which include drama for the older kids.  We welcome new additions to this group at any time during the school year.

Our young adults -
Middle School students are invited to participate in praise band (offered Wednesday afternoon OR evening), ring with Wednesday bells, sing with the adult choir or play instrumental solos during either service (this is arranged with Mrs. Peterson).  Senior high students can sing in the adult choir, play with either Vesper Bells (if room) or Wednesday bells or play and instrument/sing with the Praise Band.

TechnoDrama meets on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-5pm open to 4th grade and older. This groups incorporates drama and technology to put together an entertaining and informative children's sermon once a month.

Adults -
No matter what your musical gift, passion or level of ability, there is a spot for you in one of our musical groups at LCC:

Praise Band The praise band provides musical leadership at the 10:45 am Sunday Worship Service and includes singers, guitar & bass, keyboards, drums, and other appropriate instruments (saxophone, etc.).  Rehearsals are scheduled at various times. Contact Stacy Henderlong for more information.

New Traditions Choir -  This group rehearses Wednesday evenings, 7-8:15 pm, and sings in worship at the 9 am Sunday service three times a month. This is our "traditional" SATB choir, but if you join us you will see why we call it "New" traditions. We sing mostly music by contemporary composers that enhances our blended style of worship here at LCC. A few times during the year, we also sing classic choral literature by some of the most gifted composers of all time, for example J.S. Bach, Johannes Brahms, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, and Z. Randall Stroope. You do NOT have to be a great music reader to enjoy being in this group; listening CDs and plenty of rehearsal time is provided. Please join us!   Vesper Bells - This group plays twice a month at 8:25 and 9:30 services (alternating). Rehearsals are Tuesdays evenings at 6:30 pm.

Wednesday Bells: Formerly "Monday Morning Belles".  This is a learning group so if you are new to handbells this group will be comfortable to you!  We have fun combined with the opportunity to praise God through music.

Instrumental Music/Soloists: We are always looking for instruments such as oboe, flute and brass to play with the  choir.  Also, singers and instrumentalists are needed for special music (offerings and anthems) on a regular basis at all three services.

If you are interested in joining any of our music programs, contact Rebecca Peterson by phone (727-525-8364 x28) or email (rpeterson@mylcc.com).
