How to put your spiritual gifts to work: join a Ministry Team!  Whether your passion is for teaching, music, youth, outreach, social concerns,  management, finances, or virtually any other talent you may have, there is a place for you to use your talent to serve God.  Read on for details.
  • Worship & Music: This ministry team, in partnership with the professional staff, is responsible for the worship life of the congregation.
  • Discipleship: The responsibility of this ministry team is to use a variety of ways of sharing God's awesome love with the people of our community to heighten the sensitivity that LCC is a hospitable place. It is the role of all members to invite people to experience the awesome life God has to offer, and to develop strategies to assimilate people into LCC's fellowship.
  • Youth Education: The responsibility of this ministry team shall be to direct and supervise the entire Christian education program of the youth in the congregation. This shall include faith growth programs both at church and in the home.
  • Adult Education: Growing in our relationship with Christ is a lifelong journey. This ministry team shall develop learning opportunities that equip and nurture faith growth in adults.
  • Social Outreach: This ministry team shall stir the passion for justice and social concerns in the life of the community. The ministry team will provide support for members in need.  Links
  • Fellowship: This ministry team shall develop fellowship events and build community within the congregation.
  • Management and Finance: This ministry team shall represent the congregation in all managerial, administrative and legal matters. This ministry team shall also provide human resources support to the Senior Pastor. This ministry team shall monitor all banking, budget and overall financial matters.
  • Maintenance: The responsibility of this ministry team shall be to oversee the proper maintenance and repair of all church grounds, buildings and properties.
  • Communication: The responsibility of this ministry team is to work with the pastor(s) to communicate activites, programs and services to all members and the community. This includes all forms of media.
  • Stewardship: The responsibility of this ministry team shall be to cultivate a sense of stewardship in the lives of LCC members. This includes enriching the lives of our church community through stewardship education to youth and adults, encouraging and cultivating individual personal involvement in God's mission, through giving of self, conducting the annual pledge drive, and gathering financial commitments from our membership.
  • Youth Ministry: The responsibility of this ministry team is to encourage, educate, nurture and inspire youth and their families in developing and growing faith in Jesus Christ.
