We believe in the Living God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There is only one God with three expressions of God’s oneness–Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in God, the Father, who created the universe and is still active in creation. God craves a relationship with all people because of the deep abiding love that defines His nature.
We believe Jesus is both fully human and fully God and is the deepest manifestation of God’s love for us. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus made it possible for us to have our sins forgiven daily and to have life eternally.
We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us to believe and lives in us. The Spirit gives gifts to all believers and encourages us to use our individual gifts to build up our faith community.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Through the Bible, God comes to us and shows us how to live as He intended us to live. The Bible is our authority and guide in life and faith.
We believe our identity is grounded in the Lutheran Tradition of Christianity with an emphasis on grace alone, faith alone and Word alone.
We believe that through baptism, God adopts us as His children, no matter what our age is when we are baptized. Because of the incredible love God has for each one of us through baptism, God freely gives us the Holy Spirit, a new life here on earth, and the gift of eternal life.
We believe that through the Lord’s Supper, Jesus comes to us in, with, and under the bread and the wine, reassuring us that God deeply loves us and forgives our sins.
We believe human beings are made in the image of God and are of great value to Him. Yet because of our rebellious nature, we separate ourselves from God. Because of Jesus’ death on the cross, God forgives us and restores us to be the people He intended us to be.
We believe God calls us to be people of prayer. Prayer, our communication with God, is essential to our relationship with Him, and we encourage everyone to grow in their prayer time.
We believe God’s love has the power to transform our lives. This transformation is a lifelong journey. Growing in our understanding of God and His love is not an option, but a necessity.
We believe all people hunger and thirst for meaning in their lives and can find their purpose by being connected to God.
